just got a 06 STI recently i was wonderin whats the 1st mod i wanna do to it...and does anybody have brake dust problem???? im tired of washing wheels like every other day

i actually had in mind K&N Typhoon Intake or GPMoto HEaders?? any suggestions??

brake dust is an inherent result of using the brakes when you have disks, I even get it on my mountain bike....see my response in your other thread.

Ray.....what about dust free pads??? i know they sell those...would they help??

You can try, but from what I hear they increase rotor wear....

daym....id like to go with drilled and slotted rotors ..they'd look nice on the Black STI....my other question is intake any suggestions??

dang...lotta info thankx man.....but i was just wondering if anybody already had 06 sti and put some mods and really like them or dislike them...or what would it be the best mod to increase some more horsepower??

Only one '06 that I know of here (I am still waiting on mine to arrive at the dealer :mad: )

Plenty on Nasioc though, I am sure you can find plenty of help there, they're a great group.

the only bad part about that site is some parts have no pictures...im so anxious to soup up my STI by the summertime and then take it to PIR-Portland International RAceway....i got around 4gs to play with right now...HELPPPPPPP!!!!!

Turbo back ($1000 ish), ECU ($1000), suspension (strut braces, sway bars, $400), and you still have plenty of money left. Can get coilovers if you want., Wouldn't just get springs, like lowring springs, which could actually worsen your handling.

RAY--dude, you're getting an STI??
