Ive changed directions with my car. Im gonna work on the suspension and drivetrain and exhaust for a little bit before tearing up my motor. I have subframes, strut brace, and some other stuff on order already. I just want what I have in it. LT1 intake manifold modified by John Millican for use with a distributor with intake bores opened to 52mm. It comes with fuel rail, regulator and hose barbs to hook to fuel lines. It will only bolt to lt1 heads right now but the current owner of www.lt1intake.com (http://www.lt1intake.com) will finish modifying it to bolt onto regular SBC heads for $100.
Im wanting 147.50 + shipping

hopefully that link will work for a picture

I have this posted on thirdgen.org as well.

Im hoping that posting this is ok. If not ill delete it or im sure one of the mods will.

How do you modify it anyway to fit other heads and a distributor?

If your looking at the side of the manifold there are 4 bolt holes. The two outside holes line up. The inside 2 have to be drilled and tapped on both sides. And depending on the year of the heads(pre 87 or not) will determine whether or not you drill at an angle or straight down. The other thing that has to happen is putting in the coolant ports. if you go to www.lt1intake.com (http://www.lt1intake.com) and then go to the freq ask questions section then go to the question that asks whether you can do if yourself and there is a link that gives the whole process in very great detail with pictures, part numbers and everything.

im thinking about it, if i would get it, i would send it to the lt1intake guy to get it modified. I dont want to spend the big bucks on a miniram or something similar. I'll let you know though. are you in a rush to get rid of it?

Im in Orlando, Florida. Shipping to you should be cheap. Check out www.lt1intake.com (http://www.lt1intake.com/) under the Q&A for specifics on what all you need to do the swap. LT1 manifolds breath alot better in the high end and can boost overall hp and probably even out your torque curve. I dont know how it would react with your 400 motor but I guess the same as any other sbc, but I dont know much at all about the specifics on 400's. The manifold still needs to be modified to bolt to regular sbc heads which the guy will do for around $100.
Like i posted before another guy wants it and says he can get me the money thursday. I need a firm response or its first with the money gets it. So just lemme know asap :)

heres the direct link for the detail on the modification process start to finish.
