cadillac problems

I did the on board diagnostic check on my 1994 deville concours and i recieved a few codes some of them read recent some of them read history and i recieved a code that was: PCM? :i didnt know if that was a code or what i will be taking my car to the mechanic but would like to get as much info as possible so i dont pay an arm and a leg for a job that might only be worth 100 bucks. i appreciate all the help u guys have already given me.

PCM? is just the computer asking if you want to go into the PCM to change parameters or do further diagnostic tests. It's the first thing that comes up after any codes are read out. You'll need a shop manual to do further diagnostics.
