I installed a Pioneer cd player in my jeep grand cherokee using the wiring harness from wal-mart. the cd player turns on but there is no sound from the speakers. i know it is not the cd player because i can hook other speakers up to it and it works. i have the cd player wired into the harness and the small black and grey harnesses plugged in to the factory jeep harnesses. the big harness on the wiring kit is left not plugged into anything. i used the black wire with the female end on it for the ground, and there was a purple and grey wire hooked to a plug left over. any info would be great

Did your jeep have a factory CD PLayer in it before?
Did you get the Scotche harness adapter?
- this adapter is the one to splice the PIONEER harness into this adapter then it just plugs into the factory harness without cutting any wires?
