Error Code 32 ?????????esfd455 11-19-2005, 11:10 PM OK.....While driving home tonight my CHECK ENGINE LIGHT came on. The 1994 Jeep GCL drove fine with no change in proformance. I did the check with the ignition key for getting the codes and I got an ERROR CODE 12......( I changed the battery about 4 months ago ).......ERROR CODE 32....Which I can not find in the error list I have.........then the 55 ( no more codes ). My question is what the hell is a ERROR CODE 32 ? Any help would be appreciated..........The 32 error is bothering me. Anybody know what it is???? HELP !!!!! Thanks, FF/EMT Gary Cam7 11-21-2005, 05:07 AM #32 usally is a bad EGR Circuit. Check the EGR Valve and the Egr Solenoid. Check the wirring for shorts and make sure the Valve is opening and closing. dksob81 11-21-2005, 08:06 PM Cam is right about error codes 32 - An Open or shorted condition detect in the EGR solenoid circuit possible air/fuel ratio inbalance not detected during diagnosis. I had this code pop up 1-3 times a month ever since I got my jeep (94 Grand Cherokee 5.2L) 2 years ago. I had a fire in my engine compartment lil over a year and burnt up my vacuum harness and melted the loom around the wiring harness, along with some connectors. Well about a month ago I replaced the entire Engine Wiring Harness, Vacuum Harness, EGR Valve, Transducer and Purge Solenoid and I have yet to get Code 32 (the CHECK ENGINE light for that matter). I am not positive which actually was the fix, but if I was to say it was either the EGR Valve or Transducer. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
