broke pully belt and ignition key is hard to turn

my pully belt snapped and the ignition key is hard to turn over i havent got the new belt on yet cant get one of the alternator bolts loose what is wrong with my ignition

i fixed it all just sprayed alot of wd-40 in the ignition and it worked
