EGR solenoid location on 93LX

Can anyone tell me where exactly the EGR solenoid is on a 93 Escort LX 2 door. I've been around cars a while yet remain puzzled where the thing is on this car. I suspect a problem with it and want to test it.

Does yours even have an egr valve? Not all the 93 1.9's even have the valves.Mine doesn't

Are you looking for the EGR Valve or EGR Solenoid? Two different thing I think.

Good point Az..I don't think you have the solenoid without the valve.Mine has neither.
