I test drove a brand new, black, 6 speed 350Z at a Chevy dealer (I know...???) and the dude didn't know ANYTHING ABOUT IT! It was transferred from a Nissan dealer owned by the same group. (For instance, Kerry Nissan gave it to Kerry Chevrolet to try to sell it...why, I have NO idea.) Dealer had NO clue what it was. I scared the SHIT out of him on the test drive. It was great.

Just about anywhere you go that has a Z for sale, you can safely bet that the sales people will know NOTHING about it.

There isn't any way that a Corvette will ever be all that a Viper is in some ways, but I'm not gunna tell you who wins...all I'm gunna say is that it wasn't even close...

I saw it, the z06 won... it has the same horse and torque, but it weighs less, so it beat it in accel... I don't member the 1/4 mile times, but I'm sure it won there too, I was really dissapointed

I really was shocked...thought the Viper would definately lose in the streetability part but it would kill the vette on the track. Not the case.

Even though it'll never have as big of an engine, factory sidepipes that will burn your skin or the brutal image that the viper has (not to mention the utter COOLNESS of the Viper), the Z06 is just the new hotness...it earned it...

I've liked the viper for as long as it's been out so it almost made me sad how bad the Viper got it's ass kicked. It lost in 0-60, the 1/4 mile, streetability, on the track, all of it. There was only one thing that the viper did AS WELL as the corvette in, but that was the best it could do. And, to add a little salt to the wound, the Vette is waaaaaay cheaper...

I think dodge should definitly lighten it up a bit if they can, and give it some more horses if possible, I mean it already handles as well as a vette, but I mean they're gonna' loose more potential buyers if they don't do something quick... I think the one I saw had the GT in it too, but it was behind both the viper and the z06

The Z06 is just fuckin sick fast for a factory car...by anyone's judgement. Plus it's got lots of cool, trick racing parts...dry sump oiling, the way the engine is put into the car is very "indy car"-ish, etc.
