Hello everyone:
I do have a 95' accord with 120k. It started OK but on idle every electrical component I activate like power windows, lights, stop etc I feel like the engine is loosing rpm. I replaced the alternator and battery just in case, but the problem is still there. A friend said that it could be a ground. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Most small engines rpm will drop slightly with electrical load.

It takes engine power to produce electric current. Throw an extra 15 amps in, it takes more.

Sure it wasn't always like that?

Can you see the drop in the tach, or you just feel it?

P.S. your friend may be talking about a weak chassis ground. That's possible, I guess. Put a jumper cable from the negative post on the battery to a good contact on the body and see if the problem improves.

Look under the hood and see if you have a broken engine to chassis ground strap .

...now that I think about it, the Hondas have a negative cable that splits, one side to the motor and one side to the chassis, right?

Make sure the chassis side isn't broken or corroded.

Thanks for the info but that did not happen before. Is a feeling like when you turn on the AC and notice that the engine start shaking a little bit and also you could notice it in the rpm gauge.
Any special electrical component or regulator I should check ?
Thanks

Like I said, make sure you have a good chassis ground, and try supplying it with an alternate ground path and see if it improves.

What's the voltage with the alyernator loaded (everything on)?
