But why the hood prop??? Both my quarter panels look like your fender. Nice bumper lol. koguchi style. HoosierDrifter 11-17-2005, 10:31 PM Beater for sure, lol, you need a racing seat. :P i knooo.... a racing seat would be so much more comfy the hoodprop? oh lol yea .. i cant find the gromlets that hold it into place under the hood heheh Chuki_breath 11-17-2005, 10:59 PM yea mine fell out too!!!! its just loosly in there.....but i dont drive it, so no worries. That piece that holds it in is plastic.....mine fell out on to my drive way, i was like wtf. Then my prop is all loose and squirly. But, if i ever randomly get mobbed with my hood up, i can rip it off real fast and jackie chan some bitches in the face!!! XeVeNskyLiNE 11-17-2005, 11:05 PM Beater for sure, lol, you need a racing seat. :P I still think those are some of the best stock seats I've ever sat in not including all the more exspensive cars sporting Sparco's and Recaro's (Evo, STi). Nice car tho, all business. 240SXSlideStar 11-17-2005, 11:38 PM I still think those are some of the best stock seats I've ever sat in not including all the more exspensive cars sporting Sparco's and Recaro's (Evo, STi). Nice car tho, all business. S13 seats? Are you kidding me? S14, S15, GT-R, Z32, even Civic Si (the new hatch) all have better seats! the only thing worst are like Topaz seats. assad_l 11-18-2005, 12:22 AM damn man i would kill for that car anad you guys are calling it a beater???? trully hurts....trully hurts. well ne ways can you have a rear strut bar with the rear seats still in it?? Hit_N_Run-player 11-18-2005, 12:38 AM look where the back rolls up at, the seats wont be going back over that hill in the body. And i have a coupe and it appears that you can still install a rear strut with the seats in... 240SXSlideStar 11-18-2005, 11:15 AM Why is the car idling at 1700RPM? HoosierDrifter 11-18-2005, 11:34 AM Why is the car idling at 1700RPM? lol... good eye. its the idle screw... i adjusted it because when i had the maf wiring wrong, it helped it idle... but now it runs just fine and i need to adjust the idle back down. HoosierDrifter 11-18-2005, 12:02 PM Nice bumper lol. koguchi style. i tell you what... those holes made a HUGE difference 240SXSlideStar 11-18-2005, 02:29 PM Comfort wise they are ok, I've gone on a few long trips and they are fairly good, but they don't hold you in at all. I'm ganna try that thing where you take out one of the support bars, but I doubt it'll make that much of a difference. Hit_N_Run-player 11-18-2005, 03:18 PM Why is the car idling at 1700RPM? Yeah i saw that too, i thought his tach was just broken... XeVeNskyLiNE 11-18-2005, 06:09 PM s13 seats are not THAT bad Yea really, the bucket style seats are pretty good to me. Maybe your 40 has the one with the adjustable headrest, but I've sat in the one's like he has and I tohught they were pretty comfortable. orestes 11-18-2005, 06:25 PM no not comfort wise he is talking about holding you where you need to be in a turn and i like s14's way better in that respect. Dyno247365 11-18-2005, 06:49 PM Someone post a pic of an s14 seat, I don't know what you're talking about, the s13 seat wraps around enough... Chuki_breath 11-18-2005, 07:09 PM just strap yourself in.....REAAAAAAALY tight. like a virgin, for the very first time. Im talking make it click to wear its hard to breathe. 240SXSlideStar 11-18-2005, 11:31 PM S14 - S13 - S15 http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/february04/240sx/images/dsc00170.jpg I never tried the S14 seats, but the S13 seats suck in support, but are ok in comfort, S15 seats are absolutly amazing in support for reclinable stock seats and are really comfortable. Dyno247365 11-18-2005, 11:52 PM S14 - S13 - S15 http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/february04/240sx/images/dsc00170.jpg I never tried the S14 seats, but the S13 seats suck in support, but are ok in comfort, S15 seats are absolutly amazing in support for reclinable stock seats and are really comfortable. I have different s13 seats, no adjustable headrest and it wraps around more. It really looks like a race seat. assad_l 11-19-2005, 12:06 AM i think when i get a s13 im gona put some s15 seats in that will be nice, how much do they cost?? XeVeNskyLiNE 11-19-2005, 12:53 AM I have different s13 seats, no adjustable headrest and it wraps around more. It really looks like a race seat. Yea those are the one's I'm talking about, they seem alot better than the ones posted in the pic. Hit_N_Run-player 11-19-2005, 01:16 AM my car has seats....lol, it doesnt really bother me as long as its comfortable. 240SXSlideStar 11-19-2005, 02:19 PM I"m looking at S15 seats now, 700$cdn for the pair, if they were mint, I'd buy them, but they are stained, I'm ganna tell them that if I can get the stain out, I'll give them 500$cdn. The thing is, they are so damn rare up here. assad_l 11-19-2005, 05:16 PM thats $802 AUD thats fairly expensive if i went to the wreckers i wreckon i could pick a pair up for a bout 4-500. driftking777 11-19-2005, 05:44 PM theres a diffrence though...s15's were never sent to north america...thus all the parts must be imported, which is expensive. s15 were delivered to AUS so there for...it be like me saying hey i can get a stock camero seat for 60 bucks from a wrecker...and then you saying...hey a stock camero seat would be 300 bucks for you... assad_l 11-19-2005, 05:55 PM aww yep i got it now i was starting to freak out when he said those prices. 240SXSlideStar 11-19-2005, 07:50 PM Damn, some guy bought them for 500$....FUCK....this sucks....I guess I'll look into S14 seats....but they only go up for sale like once every year, lol. assad_l 11-19-2005, 10:26 PM y not just buy some from japan and import them??? or from u.s??? well heres a link for some s15 seats off ebay: http://motors.search.ebay.com/s15_Seats_W0QQbsZSearchQQcatrefZC6QQcoactionZcompa reQQcoentrypageZsearchQQcopagenumZ1QQfcclZ1QQfclZ3 QQfgtpZQQfmmdZQQfmmkZQQfposZQ5AIPQ2fPostalQQfromZR 2QQfrppZ50QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ2QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQfyhiZQ QfyloZQQlopgZQQmppfqyZQQsacatZ33701QQsadisZ200QQsa prchiZQQsaprcloZQQsargnZQ2d1QQsaslcZ2QQsbrftogZ1QQ sofocusZbs 240SXSlideStar 11-19-2005, 11:51 PM 600$US + 120$US = 855$CDN and that doesn't include border charges to import stuff, I'd be up to like 1200$CDN by the time they made it to my door, fuck that shit. The FNs I'm buying are like 875$US shipped, theyre ganna be like 1400$CDN by the time they are at my door. assad_l 11-20-2005, 02:27 AM fair enough if its cheaper and you like them just as much as the s15 seats then go for it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
