'94 Q45 Gas smell

i noticed it last winter and now that it is getting cold again its gotten worse

any suggestions?

the high pressure fuel line is leaking where it connects to the metal fuel line. Check the ones under the intake manifold at the right rear of the engine--those seem to be most offenders. It seems the metal line contracts (reduced diameter) enough to allow leakage if th eclamp is not tight enough. It's a real PITA to get to these clamp--may have to remove top of intake manifold to accomplish--check to find the leak point first--use inspection mirrors as required on cold start -up
