One of my main goals lately was met tonight. I trapped 110mph. Did it at .8bar(11.3psi). I initially ran at .7 bar under "self learn" on the AVC-R and just upped it until I hit 110.

just gonna list reaction time, 60', 1/4 ET, then 1/4 MPH in that sequence.

Run 1, .185, 2.281, 13.633, 107.00(.7bar)
Run 2, .383, 2.081, 13.559, 108.05(.75bar)
Run 3, .423, 2.778, 14.462, 110.07(.8bar)
Run 4, .124, 2.412, 14.272, 105,52(.8bar)

.8bar must have been the turning point on my traction because run 3 and run 4 were nothign but wheelhop past 3k in first... that 2.7 was because my car felt like someone picked it up about a foot off the ground and dropped it like 10 times. No joke I thought the transmission was 10ft behind me on that run.lol So... going along nicely with my coming autox setup, a set of FNs 17x9+20 with some Kuhmo MX's. See how that helps out.

But hey, I met my goal, not much to complain about....

shiiiiiiiiit, get that bitch to 14 psi, it runs great there. thats right where it wants to start pulling real hard to is right around there.

No...I'm good. quite content trapping 110 at 11psi. Time to get some FN's, Kuhmo MX's, and KTS coilovers and start getting into Autox.

i wish we had something like autox in aus the closest thing to the would be open track days :(

Autox is fun because you can pretty much go out and get to racing pretty quick. Usually track runs go from 49-60 seconds, tech is a breeze to get through, and all you need is a helmet. You can wear whatever for cars like mine. Its more laid back than drag racing just because you never really get over 45mph..

well you might!!!! Some of the autox's around here cars get up to like 60-70!!! Its pretty cool to hear each different car romp on it threw the gears. Like m5's, vipers, vettes, some mercedes(dunno kinds lol), and rx's and supras and shit. THere was a noble here once, and some ferrari's and other exotics. I was like damn, the rich people come to this shit.

LoL Actually at our last event, there WAS a Noble!! Sounded amazing too with twin T28s.....

I rarely even hear anyone hit 3rd at our track...

at our events (western new york) we hardly ever get out of second... sometimes we ping off the rev-limiter in 2nd, but by then there's a corner or slalom coming up in a half a second and it is a waste of speed to shift up and then immediately brake.

AutoX is the best thing around. Im so lucky to have Hallett Raceway near me. I expect to get into AutoX(High Speed Touring or GT class racing) once im done with my car.

i hope by the time i get my p's (that will be 1 year and 2 months) that they will have autox in australia.
