THANKS GM! I CANT IMAGINE WHY YOU'RE GOING BANKRUPT! maxwedge 11-16-2005, 07:07 PM Do you mean the caliper bracket bolts? 60 torx? If so you need a high quality 1/2 drive socket. Steel 11-16-2005, 07:33 PM yeah yeah, caliper bracket. And i have all high quality stuff. Good thing that Snap-On will be replacing my torx bit for free, because that got pretty mangled in trying to undo these damn bolts jeffcoslacker 11-16-2005, 08:26 PM Fucking Canadians and their whacky hardware:evillol: NeonKnight 11-17-2005, 09:40 AM I took mine off, but i have a 91 i dont know if they are the same. i used an allan wrench and a breaker bar thats homemade from a piece of motorcycle handle bar tubing. its hollw but strong. and mine were hard to get off too. but they came off Steel 11-17-2005, 08:47 PM YEah, a lot of blood, sweat and motherf-in tears, and i got those damn things off. oh yeah, did i mention i broke 2 matco and 1 snap-on T60 torx bit? yeahh... Such a pain, for such wimpy brakes. Manny_boy 11-18-2005, 02:21 PM just for future reference - before you try your T60 on them - hit 'em with some PB blast first, let it sit, then heat it up with a torch - works every time. They're supposed to be a PITA to get off without heat. They're threadlocked from the factory. Oh, and now that you got them out, remember to threadlock them back. I had some come out on me while I was driving. (Yes, I made sure they were snug, I reinstalled them with a breaker bar) - still vibrated loose. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
