He did a 5 lug conversion on the front. He's still working on the back. I guess even people in Montreal can do it right. :biggrin: haha

yea its a 86 through 88 model 200sx...i almost bought one for 500 during the summer, but decided against it...but why did he do the 5 lug conversion on the front before the rears? and what does the 5 lug conversion comprise of...240sx 5 lugs?

Here is what he said he did for the front, btw, he's a mechanic in a drift/rally garage.

"I picked up this S12 in summer off a guy in Quebec and am on my way to making it a fairly clean daily driver , somewhat like how my Silvia was once back in the day. Some of the current mods are frt and rear coilover conversions, the front was somewhat bolt on, but the rear needed some machining and custom work to fit them on, since these cars have the shock seperate from the coil in the rear. The front is a mix of s12, s13 and s14 parts. I started with a jdm s14 5 lug hub and 4 pot brakes. the table is a off an s13 with an s14 balljoint, the coilover is an s13 with redrilled holed to fit the bolts off the s14 hub. the tierod is an s14 outer and an s13 inner, the tc rod is the oem s12 and the brake line is off a 300zx Z32."

i just see all the money on those parts could go towards an s13 or even an s14!

i personally would rather have a totally custom car than just something someone else has done before...hense why im doing my SR20det Rx7...not seen before, or very often if it is seen.

i love those rims but i dont like the black.

painting rims is stupid, unless you have them done with a really nice looking powder coat. Dont spray paint them though LOL
