I replaced the actuator on my 1997 Chev K1500 4WD) with the new updated electric version No. 26060073 and wiring harness No. 31025164. The brown wire of the harness was spliced with the wire on the transfer case switch. The 4WD switch on the dash will not work in 4H, (no response) it only works in 4L of 2H.
Anybody have any idea why?
