Stain on my block

I have a mysterious problem with my 95 Accord LX.
When opening the hood and looking at the front of the engine block there seems to be an oil stain that about covers the entire front end. Near to where the headers are. Well the strange part about this entire situation is that I have changed the valve cover seal, the piston seal inside and tightened the valve cover screws.
The other thing is that the car does not leave any oil stains or puddles on my garage floor. The motor oil seems to always be at the right level. The power steering fluid is fine as well as the brake and clutch fluid. The transmission oil is also fine. The oil light does not come on, nor does the check engine light. The radiator fluid is always green. What could it be? I have also washed the engine and the stain keeps on coming back.

check the bolts of the oil pan, they may need some tightening

Well Thanks for the advice.
I had the gasket between the manifold and down pipe change plus I had the bolts on the oil pan tightened. The gasket had a crack in it and the oil pan wasn't as tight as it was supposed to be.
I've been driving around for almost two weeks and everything seems to be OK.

Thanks again.

So what your saying is that oil was seeping out from your oil pan and dripping UPWARDS across your block???? how does that work?

Well my problem was the gasket. It had a crack. I mentioned the oil pan as an extra, thats where dutchaccord thought the problem could be coming from. Althought the strange part about this whole thing was the around the oil seal there were signs if oil seeping out but I never had a drop of oil underneath my accord. Well I really don't know if a stain can travel upwards.

there's always a lil dirt on the engine, this way the oil can travel upwards (cappilair effect).
