new driver...need helpmowenscollege 11-13-2005, 06:19 PM I have a 92 dodge shadow, what kind of battery is best for it? BleedDodge 11-13-2005, 07:02 PM Uh... 12 volt? MagicRat 11-13-2005, 07:18 PM Generally batteries are batteries. Any decent auto parts place can set you up with a battery specifically intended for your car that will work fine. Usually the more expensive batteries have longer warranties but are not actually different inside. The expected lifespan of a battery is about 5 years. IMO the best batteries are AC-Delco, (a General Motors brand. ) But you will be fine with any brand sold by a rebutable auto parts place. billjade 11-19-2005, 05:10 AM i d go with a 500 ca with about 660 cca still pretty cheap and will have more than enough power to start it in cold weather vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
