I just bought a 93 accord LX. I'd like to add keyless entry to the car. what is the easiest way to do this?

did the higher end models have keyless entry? and if so, is it feasible to think that I could just add a module from those cars?

or is a remote start with keyless the way to go?

Thanks!

easiest way would probably be to have an aftermarket keyless entry installed...however...alarms w/ keyless entry nowadays cost about the same as a stand alone keyless entry kit. if you wanted to add remote start...most alarms are capable of it...just need a relay. all this could be done anywhere between 130-200 (for a decent one). now this is assuming you have power door locks and an a/t. if not...expect to pay more for a power door lock kit and for having remote start for m/t.

Not in 1993.

Drive over to Quality Auto Sound and give them a check for $129.99.

now that i think about it....even if you wanted to w/ a factory alarm....i don't think honda has a remote start option for their factory keyless entry/alarm systems. you would still have to go the aftermarket route in order to get remote start.
