I over turned the driver side headlight adjustment too much to the left. The adjustment screw now doesn't do anything. I think the rack and pinion or ball joint portion of the adjustment screw is broken. Anyone have an idea how I can fix it?

You just have to go to your local autoparts store and buy a new headlight adjusting screw. It sounds like yours is stripped out. They only cost 2 or 3 dollars for a couple.
