i had everything turned off yesterday and it kept blowing alot of hot air out,, was going like 50 and the car temperature wasnt anywhere near high??

If the car is in fresh air mode instead of recirc the outside air will push through the heater core via the vent in the cowl and come through the vents inside the car.

what it has to do with the problem is. If the temp is to full heat the air coming into the car regardless of the outside temp will be "hot". Some people exadgerate on things so alot to him may be just a mild breaze to us.

it very well can be your switch, because my 97 accord does the same thing. it does close the hot air valve to the air off completly so some hot air does go through, and thats what causes the air to be hot.
