I have replaced the head gasket and it runs good with no coolant leaks but some oil leaking and need to stop as my wife drives it and I am catching hell. Anyone ever apply external caulk to engine head/block to seal a leak - if so, what brand did you use. Thanks!!

I have never heard of anyone doing that and I doubt it will work for long. If you have an oil leak, you need to trace it and replace/fix it. They don't just go away from my personal experience. Are you getting in oil in your coolant or vice versa?

Thanks for reply. No oil in coolant and it runs perfect except for dipping oil. Not sure why a high temperature sealant would not work if I could degrease enough. Thanks again!
