Basic problem

OK my car is a 95 and i was just wondering if the car is putting out grey smoke and sometimes stalls is that because of the fuel filter or does the oil need changed. (I just bought the car) If any one can help me thanks.

I have a 94 lebaron gtc, and i had the same grey smoke problem but not the stalling. I took care of the smoke by running synthetic oil instead of petroleum. The stalling I can't explain.
