I have a 2004 grand cherokee. I had an engine coolant flush in September. I started losing heat on my passenger side and this week it moved over to the driver side. Now I have no heat. Today I opened my hood and discovered that everything appears normal except my engine coolant level. The level is above the full level and when I took the top off and looked inside I see the orange coolant is filled to the very top. Could this be causing my problem?

Since the problem started on 1 side and moved over time, I would suspect the problem is stuck air baffles inside the heater enclosure.

The coolant level should be right on the mark or right around it. Filled to the very top of the plastic bottle could indicate some type of problem.

2004 - should still be covered by warranty - Right?

Greg is right,it does sound like a possible problem with the blend doors. These are notorious for breaking, especially on WJs with the dual zone system.Just curious, why did you flush the coolant?Your Jeep has 5 year/. 100,000 mile coolant

could possibly be air bubbles in the coolant causing no heat. which is easy to fix

I'm leasing and I have 39,000 miles and I was told my my non-Jeep mechanic that I should have a engine coolant flush in September when I was at 36,000. I was planning on keeping this Jeep but I don't like trouble. I usually don't buy American but I love Jeep.
Anyway, I made an appointment at my Jeep Dealership and my mechanic for next week so that I can have two opinions. I'll let you know what happens. Thankx.
