I have a Ram 1500 and I got a P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction engine code. Can anyone give me some insight as to what (more specifically) this code is.

It means you have a trans control problem in the trans computer.
You will need to get it on a trans capable scanner to see what the trans code or problem is.
If this is on your 05 dodge that it back to the dealer. It should be under warranty.
If not get it on a good trans capable scanner and post back code no.
