Actually despite the title it is my first painting ever, not just my first water-color painting. Anyway It was the first project from a water color class i'm taking. I did not enjoy the medium at all. I feel like I don't have enough control, plus I don't like having to do some then wait for it to dry then do some more etc. When I get motivated to create artwork I am in the zone and I just want to sit and work on it. So here it is......

PS: I know its a lame still life but I had to work with things I could find in my room at the time... so I was kinda limited. Oh well next time I'll cheat a little and find better things to paint.

Looks great, especially for a first painting! Personally I'm not a big fan of watercolor. Whenever I work with them, I just use very little water and work with the paint while it's really thinck, almost like acrylic.
