The car will run just fine down the interstate, but around town, sometimes it trys to die, or it has no power when trying to take off from a stop light. You have to feather the throttle and it will straighten up for a bit, then it will do it again, Then it won't for a while, just can't really figure out where to start looking at this point, the fuel filter is new, I have noticed that the fuel pump will be running then it sounds like it shuts off for a breif second, when this happens the motor has a popping noise in the exhaust. Anyone seen anything like this, Could it be the fuel pump, if so then why would it run so good on the interstate.
