CarbonFiber VS. Kevlarbc4g 05-28-2002, 01:27 AM What exactly is the diff. besides the design? Is one lighter/durable? Thanks Chad HamsterStyle 05-29-2002, 10:15 AM I believe kevlar is a little bit lighter and just as strong as carbon, but the only difference is that kevlar won't shatter when hit or involved in a wreck. carbon on the other hand will completely deteriorate. Oh yeah kevlar is harder to work with. HamsterStyle 05-29-2002, 10:16 AM sorry about the double post, but carbon is also much more visibly pleasing. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
