What exactly is the diff. besides the design? Is one lighter/durable?

I believe kevlar is a little bit lighter and just as strong as carbon, but the only difference is that kevlar won't shatter when hit or involved in a wreck. carbon on the other hand will completely deteriorate. Oh yeah kevlar is harder to work with.

sorry about the double post, but carbon is also much more visibly pleasing.
