Doors rattle on a 03

All of my doors (5) rattle . How do I fix it? Ive been told it is the " latch" .Is this true? or is it in side the doors If so how hard are they to take off...the panels,

I had the same problem with my previous Expedition, a 2003 model. It are the latches, but don't bother adjusting them... I got hands on the below Ford service message. The dealer ordered the kit (Weatherstrip and latches), installed it, and all rattles where gone. Was done under warranty.

TO VERIFY, DRIVE VEHICLE AND MANUALLY PULL DOOR INBOARD WHILE NOISE IS PRESENT. IF NOISE IS UNCHANGED, SEE TSB 03-23-3. IF NOISE DECREASES, REPLACE THE WEATHERSTRIP AND/OR LATCH AND/OR SHEDLIP ON AFFECTED DOOR(S) AS NEEDED. latches? Sorry for being stupid but do you mean the striker plate on the body or the Latch part of the DOOR? Which one do I buy?. Im going to try and buy them. mine has a build date of 11-03 . when I pull my door in it sounds the same, Plus did they fix the 5th door?

As far I know they changed the latches and weather-strip of the 4 doors only. The revised weaterstrip had a stronger "spring" action. No adjustments where made to the striker plates. The was no issue with the 5th door / tailgate.
