What is the best tire for rainy weather and ocassional snow in 265 70 17 for the SC SE. Also at a reasonable price for the tires performance

I just bought a set of Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S for my 2000 SE.
They are rated very high in all the categories and were a lot less than Michelins.

I don’t know how they actually perform in winter weather because we are still not there here in Minnesota. But my guess is the will be better than the OE BFG’s.

I wasn't pleased with my Yoko Geolander H/T-S tires that I had on my 2000. They had pretty good grip at first but that didn't last long at all and they were never worth a damn in the mud. They would also spin on wet pavement, but not as bad as the General Grabbers that came stock, those were horrible on wet pavement. I just replaced them with a set of Dunlop Rover RVXT's. Happy so far but we'll see how they hold up with use. I think they're better than the Yoko's were from the get-go.
