16" rims240SXSlideStar 11-07-2005, 06:56 PM Anyone knows who makes 16" rims that don't suck? Like 16x8 +10 or 16x9 +20. In 4 lug and not 800$ each, lol. R.W.240 11-07-2005, 07:04 PM CCW, Work and SSR. some Foxbodys came with 16x8 +0 Enkei 92 Mesh The only way to rock 16 and not suck completely is Demon Cambers in 16x8 -10 I shall now find pics of said Demon Cambers (they were in the first drifting mag on a "Full Counter Club" car 240SXSlideStar 11-07-2005, 07:09 PM Cool, I'd like to see some badass 16s, I wanna go 17, but I'm way to poor. I found some SA3R in 16x8 but the offset sucks (+35) and they are all scratched and fucked up, they are 400$cdn. driftking777 11-07-2005, 08:22 PM yea 4 lug advans only came in +32 offset i think...pretty shitty... 240SXSlideStar 11-07-2005, 08:34 PM I might have to go 5lug after all, but then I could get TE37s in 16x8.5 +12 lol slideways... 11-07-2005, 10:53 PM im gonna get some 15" konig heliums with avon Tech R's and autox my car next year. seriously though if you race, try some wheels that weigh around 10 or less lbs. your car will feel so much faster and more nimble. 240SXSlideStar 11-07-2005, 11:25 PM orestes 11-08-2005, 12:49 AM Thanks for that new desktop dude. driftking777 11-08-2005, 12:41 PM nah i dont think that was quite what he meant slidestar...i think he is saying 15-16 inch rims with decent width to reduce weight...those were like 17x? so going to weigh alittle more...if you going for the lightness...no better than the TE37's R.W.240 11-08-2005, 02:15 PM nah i dont think that was quite what he meant slidestar...i think he is saying 15-16 inch rims with decent width to reduce weight...those were like 17x? so going to weigh alittle more...if you going for the lightness...no better than the TE37's The Phase2 car has 16x8.5 -10 Demon Cambers. However, it still manages to suck because of all the other rice trash on the car. Steps to rockin Demon Cambers 1) Slammed beyond belief 2) 3+d of Camber 3) Front 20mms + pulled rear 4) Mild/OEM Aero (ie Kouki or Silvia Aero) CE28Ns are lighter and less expensive than TE37s Personally I think worrying enough about unsprung weight enough to use 16s is retarded. Especialy since alot of people saying they do it to keep weight down are using cast POS wheels. ghostchild316 11-10-2005, 10:21 AM 5zigen fn01rc 240SXSlideStar 11-10-2005, 11:37 AM 5zigen fn01rc I said rims that don't suck. Even tho some FNs look nice, the 16" ones are all 7" wide with a +33 or +42 offset and they only have a 4x100 bolt pattern. I want these. 16x7 +14 and 16x8 +19 http://www.chopsavvy.net/x/upload/workwheels/CIMG1006.jpg http://www.chopsavvy.net/x/upload/workwheels/CIMG1422.jpg http://www.chopsavvy.net/x/upload/twinrivers/CIMG1432.jpg But 5 lug :( and 1400$cdn with half used tires. lol xcusememisswyn 11-10-2005, 04:29 PM and u need coils to rock them properly 240SXSlideStar 11-10-2005, 10:20 PM Yup, I wanna get Kei Office, 2 places are selling them here, used, for 750$cdn.... Hit_N_Run-player 11-10-2005, 10:43 PM 240SXSlideStar 11-10-2005, 11:14 PM Damn, looks good, what size is that? Hit_N_Run-player 11-10-2005, 11:26 PM F: 5Zigen Fn01r-c 17x9 +15 offset R: 5Zigen Fn01r-c 17x10 +25 offset I think thats one sexy coupe.. R.W.240 11-10-2005, 11:57 PM Hit_N_Run-player 11-11-2005, 12:14 AM of course RW always find the better pics lol, i like how that one doesnt have the spoiler like the first one. Does that rear fender have a dent in it? or is just the angle? What are the specs on those rims? 240SXSlideStar 11-11-2005, 11:38 AM That freakin awesome, but I like how the spokes curve in on the 10 wide. But slammed > * lol R.W.240 11-11-2005, 02:03 PM of course RW always find the better pics lol, i like how that one doesnt have the spoiler like the first one. Does that rear fender have a dent in it? or is just the angle? What are the specs on those rims? On S13s its really easy to dent the rear fender when you pull if you dont use a heat gun on the inner fender. Then even if you keep the dent out when your pulling, it will always be really prone to denting (like leaning on it and such). nissan180 11-12-2005, 12:05 AM go with some Rays Gram Light 57c's 16x8's...i got 16x7.5 on my 240sx...with tanabe GF210 springs on it...looks clean...about 1"gap between tire and wheelwell...looks nice...i got 215/55/16 tires all around..not that expensive either...i got mine off of ebay for $800... about $230 a piece brand new i believe...very nice rims and they only weigh about 12.5lbs each 240SXSlideStar 11-12-2005, 12:25 AM What kind of offset? If you say you don't know what offset is, please don't talk to me. If you do know the offste, please tell me more. R.W.240 11-12-2005, 03:37 AM go with some Rays Gram Light 57c's 16x8's...i got 16x7.5 on my 240sx...with tanabe GF210 springs on it...looks clean...about 1"gap between tire and wheelwell...looks nice...i got 215/55/16 tires all around..not that expensive either...i got mine off of ebay for $800... about $230 a piece brand new i believe...very nice rims and they only weigh about 12.5lbs each Rays sizing chart seems to believe that there is no 16x7.5 Gramlight 57C... If you measured it on a caliper, which I doubt since nice wheels like volks have a size sticker on them, then you have the 16x7 +30. Even then the 16x8 is only offered in +30 or +40 which will clear... but isnt anything worth paying $800 for SPLParts.com has 17x9 +20 FNO1RCs for about 800$ in 4 Lug. You won't find those anywhere else since they're exclusive to SPL. Hit_N_Run-player 11-12-2005, 03:42 AM that actually seems like a really good deal. What would you have to do to make those clear on an S13? R.W.240 11-12-2005, 12:18 PM that actually seems like a really good deal. What would you have to do to make those clear on an S13? Fender roll and Camber. nissan180 11-12-2005, 05:26 PM Here is a pic of my car with the gram lights http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/1/web/2173000-2173999/2173331_3_full.jpg nissan180 11-12-2005, 05:32 PM The measurements of my Gram Lights are... 16"x7" all around My bad for being wrong damn chill out... The offset is +42 all around...there ya happy I gave you an offset nissan180 11-12-2005, 05:35 PM oh and Gram Lights are not Volks nissan180 11-12-2005, 05:38 PM I will have a picture of the Wheel Sticker soon on here...just have to clean the rim up a bit so you can read the sticker 240SXSlideStar 11-12-2005, 06:36 PM oh and Gram Lights are not Volks No, but they are Rays and Rays makes Volk Racing. 240SXSlideStar 11-12-2005, 06:37 PM And RW240, do you know if Work GWings in 16x7 +14 will clear Z32 brakes and coilovers? nissan180 11-12-2005, 08:46 PM I know they are made by Rays thats why i said Rays Gram Lights But they are still not volks, even though volks are made by rays as well...alot of wheel companies are made by Rays 240SXSlideStar 11-12-2005, 09:16 PM Yeah, but he said alot of high quality wheels, like Volk, he never sai dyour were volk. R.W.240 11-13-2005, 02:27 AM Yiggity Yikes. +42??? I had 7.5 +42 and the tire clearanced itself on the strut... I gave those shytes away... literally 16x7 +14 will be a mile away from coilovers... I don't know about Z brakes though, but probably. XeVeNskyLiNE 11-13-2005, 01:13 PM Yiggity Yikes. +42??? Thats what I thought too, beat my Eclipse by -1 offset, lol. Wouldn't pandagarage.com have some nice used ones? nissan180 11-13-2005, 03:40 PM Yeah, but he said alot of high quality wheels, like Volk, he never sai dyour were volk. back to your original question...Gram lights in 16 arent usually that expensive...around 230ish a wheel...also some 5zigen FN01R's....never seen those in 16" so wouldnt know what they would look like...but im getting some 17's cuz im getting a bodykit soon and 16 is too small to have with a bodykit...it would look weird...so im getting some 17" TE37's...expensive i know...but yeah there are always some Advans (3 spoke) wheels...16 and 17 on ebaymotors.com i got my grams off ebay...thats the cheapest place u'll find some of those rims...just gotta know that the dealer is trustful...or some watanabe 16" rims...those dont look bad vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
