Okay,my buddy is out in St.Louis for a few months.And today he called me claiming he spotted a Cadillac Sixteen in traffic that pulled up next to him.I told him he was out of his mind.Because to my understanding theres only been one made thats currently sitting on a shelf in Detroit.I could be wrong.Im not sure.I told him it was probably a new DTS.He swears it was a Sixteen.Could I be wrong?Could Bob Lutz be joy riding in a Sixteen and my buddy happened to see this amazing machine?

Sounds far fetched. The most reasonable answer (apart from completely mistaken) is that somebody put new body panals on their car to look like the Sixteen . But, for whatever reason, the car he saw WAS indeed the real Sixteen, why the hell would it be in St. Louis? Detroit MABEY, but not St. Louis.

My friends told me they have seen alot of stuff. 10 times out of 10 they turn out to be wrong. Maybe it was a DTS or STS or some other large luxury ride.

I told him he was crazy.He was positive he had seen it though.

He certainly didn't see the Sixteen. I am thinking (about 95% sure) that what he saw was the XLR. It looks a lot like it and you get the feeling that its something special when you see it. Just show him a picture of that and I am sure he will recognize it.

but it could be that someone fell in love with the concept and made an exact replica. i've seen it on an slr.
