Hey guyzzzz!

I am absolutely dying to put a moonroof into my 99 neon...how much does it cost to do that? I wouldn't be thinking about this if my car wasn't in good shape, but for a 99 neon it shines like it was brand new and I take such good care of it. It would be a moonroof not a sunroof right? Because I know that one of those cannot be put into a car after it has been built.

The power sunroof was a $895 option for the '99 neon. I would assume that if you want a powered sunroof/moonroof that it would be more $ to install it aftermarket. If you don't mind cheesy, you could probably get by for $250-$300 for a non-powered flip-up unit.

most shops in my area charge about 1100 for the in-vehicle style, and 650-800 for the flip out style. (motorized on both)

Almost cheaper to buy a used neon with a sunroof already in there :)

yes indeed it is. buy one with it already installed. why pay that much for something that you can already have installed?
