Hello! I have a 2000 Neon with 71,000 miles that Is giving me a thumping sound from the front passenger side only while braking. Both of my front calipers are less that 6mos old. Rotors are about 2 weeks old and pads are about 1 month old. I have swapped the 2 front tires but that has not helped. Anyone have any ideas what this sound might be??

I would check to see if the calipers and brake pads are seated correctly.

yes in some cases the caliper will not fully fit onto the steering knuckle as in my case and my step faters case also....

I have been trying to figure out why it camee off so easy but putting it back on it was a battle and a half....

Ideas anyone?

I swapped rotors and the noise went to the driver side! I guess I have a defective rotor. I will take it back and try another one! Thanks for the help!!
