Well I finaly got it running. The connection at the CAS was not good. It is very fast but my trans (auto) is not working. I was told by a trans. shop that I needed to run the codes. There is supose to be a seperate light that flashes codes. They said that all nissans have it and that it comes on when you turn the key on. It only stays on for a couple of seconds. can anyone tell me where that light is located? Is it in the gauges or in the trim ring? And when light what does it say?

it is a yellow dummy light...i forget where it is at but its not in the cluster. its in teh little dummy light section underneat the cluster.

when you turn the key to on, you should see just a yellow light, doesnt say anything...just a box. if you turn the key on and off rapidly several times it will throw the Tranmission Computer into search mode. and it will blink so many times. i will have to look up the codes to tell you what means what...
