97 Rodeo w/ 15" wheel offsetI-HATE-CHEVY 11-03-2005, 10:38 PM Hello all, I have a 97 rodeo S with the stock 16" rims on it. I am thinking of buying some 15" rims that have new 30"/9.5"/R15 Bigfoot XT offroad tires on them. Problem is, the rims that come with these tires have a 2-1/2" offset according to the seller. My question is obvious, will that offset work with my 97? Next question, is there any problem with putting a 15" rim on a vehicle that was made for 16", such as the calipers being too big and hitting the rim, or brakes, or whatever. I ask these questions because the seller lives 2 hours from me and I don't want to drive clear over there to find that they will not work. Please help. John Ramblin Fever 11-05-2005, 09:55 AM I can tell you that a 15" rim size will fit; as to the backspacing I couldn't say. What kind of vehicle did these come off of? I've learned that wheels from the 00-03 Xterra's will fit, along with Toyota truck wheels. However, Chevy wheels won't fit - hub openings are too small. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
