CRX DX vs Lancer EVO

zomg so i was driving around town and this dude in a tricked-out EVO VIII pulled up next to me, and i felt like making an ass of myself so i revved at him, he revved back and WHOOOSH of the BOV, light turned green we take off and i kept up with him for all of about 1.5 seconds! get to next light and hes laughing at me like i honestly felt i would win. so im like "again?" and he guffaws at me and revs again. this time we take off and a hear a BOOM! and smoke starts coming from under his hood and i take off. i turn around at the next light and drive by to see him popping his hood and hes looking kinda frantic, i just hit the hazards and drive away.
