I think a new ignition would be maybe 100-200 bucks??? k3smostwanted 11-03-2005, 06:48 PM yeah...$8k is a deal for a Twin Turbo. the question can you afford and are you ready for a Twin Turbo. not only do you have to come up with initial $8k but you have to remember your insurance is going to sky rocket, your gas consumption will also sky rocket. most Z32TT owners use their car as a weekend fun car or atleast have a second car at their disposal if something breaks or whatever. im not trying to steer you away or saying it is not a reliable car. its just it is a Twin Turbo Sports car with alot of performance so mechanical problems are unavoidable. anyways good luck. $8k is a deal... Eclipsewhipping 11-03-2005, 10:14 PM wow, i test drove it tonite and it is a bad ass car, god dam, it is a huge diff over my eclipse, i am in love with the zx, by the way its a 91 with 70k miles, good body and the t-top dont leak, everything seems good, i will most likely own it by monday DeleriousZ 11-03-2005, 11:43 PM congradulations... ask if he's done the '60k maintinence' (changed timing belt mostly) just as a warning, if you buy this car, you will forfeit any sort of money you are making at the moment... every penny will go into making it faster, better looking and better handling... it's just a disease we all seem to catch.... i like to call it the Z fever :p Eclipsewhipping 11-04-2005, 01:48 AM im so pumped up for getting this car that i cant stop thinking about it, i talked to the guy and he showed me all the matience papers and every thing is up to date. so right now im researching parts, and im amazed of how many performance parts there is for this car, DeleriousZ 11-04-2005, 01:49 AM that's cool man... check out the following thread for any questions you might have about modifying it and such... prettymuch everything you need to know is in there http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=419768 xXxRocker5150 11-04-2005, 10:14 AM damn dude for 8 grand, with 70K miles... wow that's a freakin steal... expect to put in like 100 or 200 for a new ignition though... either way... wow Eclipsewhipping 11-04-2005, 12:02 PM ya as for after market mods ive been look at stillen.com, they seem to have a good selection and for good prices. i have one question tho, would it be better to buy a 1200 dollar front mount intercooler or to buy the aftermarket side mounts? Broke_as_**** 11-04-2005, 04:53 PM Stillen is not known for great customer service although their parts are usually pretty high quality. Use www.conceptzperformance.com for the best prices and parts selection not to mentition the best customer service I've ever seen from an internet company. As for the intercooler, unless you are going to go for really big power (700+rwhp) then the upgraded side mounts are usually a better option. k3smostwanted 11-04-2005, 06:04 PM As for the intercooler, unless you are going to go for really big power (700+rwhp) then the upgraded side mounts are usually a better option. usually??? try always... sidemounts are far superior on the Z32TT up until they cannot flow enough air which is usually ~700rwhp like broke said. stillen sidemounts are the best flowing and usually the best pick all around. but there a few other that have a larger surface area which enables them to cool the air more but they dont flow quite as well...its kind of a trade-off but stillen's have been proven to be the best performer all-around. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
