Washer Pump Motor86parky 11-03-2005, 02:07 PM 86 Park Ave. Pump For Windshield Washer Isn't Working. Looks Like Both Pump And Wiper Motor Are Built In Together. HotZ28 11-03-2005, 05:52 PM The pump has a clip holding it in the motor housing. Slide the clips back and pull down on the washer motor to remove. Sometimes you have to use a persuader. 86parky 11-06-2005, 02:59 PM [QUOTE=HotZ28]The pump has a clip holding it in the motor housing. I'll let you how it went. 86parky 11-06-2005, 03:10 PM Thanks again HotZ28, I broke the plastic housing by clip, but was able to get pump out. HotZ28 11-06-2005, 04:06 PM Glad to here you got the pump out. Be sure to blow out all the washer hoses and clean the screen on the pickup tube in the fluid reservoir prior to installing new pump. If the new pump needs something to hold it in place, try a little silicone on the body prior to sliding it in the housing. Put a piece of duct tape or rubber bands on it to hold in place until the silicone dries. Good luck! :iceslolan Gocart879 11-06-2005, 04:12 PM where is the sensor for the idiot light located? HotZ28 11-07-2005, 02:02 AM In the washer fluid reservoir. :screwy: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
