Looks sweet! I like that color. And what did you do to your grill with the honda emblem? I've never seen that before  Kinda cool looking

Ahh yes my grill, well i had mesh in front like everyone does but some people keped pushing it in and denting it, (Grr) so i put it in back of the black slats. also my H is painted a metallic gunmetal grey color because the chrome was getting oxidized (same with the rear one) there is a small piece of mesh behind the H too.
the HONDA emblem it is recycled from the rear of the car, i shaved it and the 'EX' and i moved the accord emblem to where the honda emblem was to cover the holes.
My future plans are to remove the accored emblem thats covering the holes and shave the holes to put stick on carbon fiber ACCORD letters in its place.

i honestly like the color, but why a german plate? you're in MI, USA.

well i know people dont like to have plates on the front of their cars in states where they have to, i personally am a big german car fan (i will always love honda tho!) anyways the plate is an authentic plate i got, and ironicly the number starts with the letters BMW so i liked it. i think euro plates (long skinny ones) look good, espiacially on a audi, vw or bmw, but i dont have my bmw yet so its on my japanise car for now. and since nobody has front plates in MI then really, i am the one being unique here :)

how did you cut out the slats and replace it with mesh. that's very unique and different?;)

to get the slats out i used a DeWalt SawZall! :) you definetly cant be nervious about it, if you mess up or dont like it you gotta live with it or get a new bumper cover.
my horns were rusty and bad looking so as you can see i hit them with a little silver paint, as well as the transmission cooler that runs accross there. you cant see the transmission cooler in the photo because the plate runs in front of it
the mesh was a roll of gutter guard from menards, it was like $3 for a 20 foot by 6 inch roll. 6 inches was the perfect width. i jsut took a length of it and stretched it behind the horns i think, anyways i jsut bent it around behind the horns and thats all that holds it in.

Could you take a close-up of your bumper grille so that it can be seen better?

heres a couple shots. they are both before the silver paint on the horns and trans cooler, so everything looks a bit rusty :(

it would be nice to put big shiny oil cooler down there, or an upgraded transmission cooler :)

what did u use to cut into the molding and can u post some pics showing how u did ur sidemarkers please!! or at least what they look like :D and also does it hurt anything to have the highbeam bulbs in the lowbeam wireing harness?

i didnt take pics while i was doing it but it will be easy to explain.
heres the pic:

well what i did was take off the molding by undoing the splash guard in the wheel well and reaching in and unsnapping it...ther are 2 clips that go through square holes. dont brake them i dont know where you would ever get more. then you find a sutable reflector that light will go through. i used a large oval reflector that i got for $0.99 i just cut it down into the shape i wanted. then i cut a hole in the rubber molding a little smaller than the reflector....its pretty soft rubber....i used a utility knife, a couple passes and i was through. after you make your adjustments so the reflector fits in flush glue it in. i used a clear silicone adhesive.
the light sockets were some GM replacement socket i got an my local do it best hardware store. its for the small push in bulbs. (194) i drilled a hole in the fender behind the molding so the socket would fit and broke out the silicone adhesive agian. then i jsut wired it to my front bumper blinker. i think the soclets were like $2-3 and i had the wire and bulbs laying around.

the high beam bulbs have not hurt my wiring and they have been in for a month. its only 10w difference so i dont think its a problem. its not like putting in those 80-100w bulbs that blind and explode. you jsut have to modify the notch on top and the connector on the bulb itself so it fits...if you look at the connectors you will see the difference...instructions are online too.

ive never seen sidemarkers like that, youre one creative son-of-a-bitch!!!:D :D looks hella nice. i think im gonna have to copy you. and it sure as hell beats drilling through the fender.

oh yea, and about those modified lows, i did that too. although im not as polite to oncoming traffic. i used 80w hiper industries, but still no problems.

and i dont have a cap in anymore, but even still, at night my lights dont dim. maybe the 9005's are forcing a more constant draw from the system so the amps dont affect it anymore. who knows, but it aint broke, so im not fixin it.

I try :) allthough i have never been called "one creative son of a bitch" i will have to add it to my list of nicknames...lol

tight as shit man!! u think it would do ok if i bought some sidemarkers? all they have around here is APC sidemarkers. do they have any reflectors that are clear? that would go better w/my car since my car is silver and so r the body moldings

apc would work fine, heres what they carry. personally i think the civi markers look the best. then just trim them down some so its flush with the molding.

ACB384-would orchard supply have those replacements?? i didnt know hardware stores carried alot of automotive supplies.

im more of a fan of the square sidemarkers myself. the bmw markers are tight! they look like acb384's markers. u could prolly go to a dealer and get that socket. or maybe like farm and tractor supply

i know me too, but the molding isnt big enough to mount the entire marker. i meant i like the reflective pattern in the lens, you can cut it to fit any shape you like.

i made my markers to look like the ones bmw's have in their molding :)
you guys are brain storming already...its awesome!
