Gold plated adjustable shock absorberstim1950 11-02-2005, 12:09 AM They might as well be at the price the dealer wants. I have the adjustable shock option on my 87 2+2 turbo. For the adjustable shocks, the dealer wants $835.00 ea for the front struts and $215.00 ea for the rear shocks. Dealer only parts. Forget about It! So I,m got a estimate for converting to non adjustable gas shocks and its still $935.00 installed with a front end alignment and a conversion kit. Damn. Is that out of line? DeleriousZ 11-02-2005, 12:33 AM YOUCH! that's not good at all dude... you can get the tokico HP non adjustable package (shocks and struts) for under $400... for the illumina's (tokico illumina, some of the best struts out there for a reasonable price) can be found for about $400 struts alone.. that's about the cheapest price.. i'd look to spend around $500 from a reputable outlet after shipping... swapping in stock suspension parts isn't worth it at all if you ask me... you'd be much better off swapping in aftermarket stuff... can stiffen up the ride if you like, or you can keep it pretty close to stock even with lowering springs if that's really what you want... k3smostwanted 11-02-2005, 05:09 PM you could get some high end coilovers for that price. i hate when manufacturers make dealership only parts. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
