You can say to the manufacturer that you are considering buying a new one and want to see what it will look like. Mostly every time they have a picture, and will send it to you, if they think you are going to buy their product. Be specific on what you ask for, then you will see and make a decision on whether you like it or not. OverBoardProject 11-02-2005, 11:54 PM Good idea Dougie! Has anyone looked into making a 1 piece nose for the S-10, That would look wild if someone did it. Although it would be a lot of fabrication to make everything work right dmbrisket 51 11-03-2005, 12:25 AM Good idea Dougie! Has anyone looked into making a 1 piece nose for the S-10, That would look wild if someone did it. Although it would be a lot of fabrication to make everything work right me n' my cousin one drunk night thought about it, ran into a lot of engeneering problems so we scrapped the idea... and goodmark, i beleve makes the hood your looking for with a picture OverBoardProject 11-03-2005, 12:52 AM I'm sure that it could be done, although you'd sure have to do a lot of cutting, and fabrication. Too much work for me until my rods are done. I think that I'll nake a 1 piece nose on 1 of my rods, it'll actually be easier than the hood that I was trying to get made up spivey-1 11-04-2005, 05:26 PM what do u guys think of the hood mike is showing cause i am leaning toward that one to put on my truck rlith 11-04-2005, 06:01 PM Personally I never liked the cowl induction hoods, prefer a scooped one... Here's a pic of Grapplers Jimmy with one... http://vettel.org/andy/Jimmy/JPublJim.jpg http://vettel.org/andy/Jimmy/JNoseB.jpg dmbrisket 51 11-04-2005, 06:03 PM imo high rise cowls are ment for old muscle, low pro cowls look good and rlith that scooped hood looks damn good OverBoardProject 11-04-2005, 06:06 PM Your friend has a nice ride ther Rlith. Has he done all the mods that you have? rlith 11-04-2005, 07:20 PM Your friend has a nice ride ther Rlith. Has he done all the mods that you have? You can see all his projects at www.vettel.org/andy OverBoardProject 11-04-2005, 07:57 PM Thanks Rlith. I've been meaning to ask you if your first gen body lift kit included front bumper brackets? I'm thinking of raising mine soon Thanks rlith 11-04-2005, 08:02 PM I hated the relocation brackets that came with the 1st gen kit. It was too flimsy... I ended up raising the bumper horns up 3" and welding them in place. OverBoardProject 11-04-2005, 08:03 PM Thanks Rlith would you by any chance have a pic? rlith 11-04-2005, 08:08 PM Thanks Rlith would you by any chance have a pic?
