Saving as a JPEG in CS2tc3house 10-31-2005, 07:13 PM I cant seem to figure out how to save an image as a jpeg in CS2. In photoshop 7 all you have to do is flatten the image and then you can choose jpeg from the drop down menu when you save it. This doesnt seem to work for CS2. Does anyone know how to save as a jpeg? assad_l 10-31-2005, 11:51 PM go file>save for web... and the settings for it all will come up you dont need to flaten anything. Moppie 10-31-2005, 11:59 PM Its exactly the same as in PS7. Click save as, select JPEG, and choose your compresion level. But remember you have to have flattened any layers, be in sRGB colour space ((RGB Colour) and be at 8bit. All found under Image->Mode. ghetto7o2azn 11-01-2005, 01:29 AM what... you dont have to flatten the layers if you press save as, it already does it when you choose a .jpg vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
