I have a 97 ram with the 5.9L auto. Has anyone tried a throttle body spacer for better fuel mileage and performance? Helix has one that is supposed to give 4 mpg better.

Also wanted to know about the fuel boss magnets that go on the fuel line for separating molecules and atomization. Does this give any increase in mpg?

Love the truck, but the gas is such a killer.

Thanks!!

The 5.9 V8 is thirsty, that's for sure.

I've read several posts about those items, and all said they were a waste of money. You'd be better off switching to all synthetics and putting on some good headers and exhaust.

I'll sell you the TB spacer thats been sitting around my house collecting dust. I dont have a 2g anymore so i cant use it. 35 shipped. You will just need a gasket and longer bolts.

Its either powerraid(something like that) or helix, cant remember.

Appreciate the advise - I was hearing the same about wasting money. Looks like this one is getting returned.

Thanks!
