Alright..i currently had my 1994 B20B integra turbocharged...it's a turbonetics t3 series turbo charger, and turbonetics intercooler, warlboro fuel pump and 550 injectors, tuned with uberdata..it runs great while its cool, but as soon as it is running hot, or warm i should say, and i hit any boost, it begins to bog, it does not let my car hit boost, and when it does it immediately slows down, makes a jerking motion you could say, it lets go then catches, then lets go again..it is not puffing smole while doing this, and i thought nothing of it for a day or two until my engine light came on, now its worrying me,and its a pain in the ass..also the car is running very rich right now and the intake is set quite close to the engine, real close sucking hot air i presume..any help, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated..as well if anyone knows a good honda/turbo mechanic in the lower mainland British Columbia please let me know..thanks.

uberdata basemap, tuned on the street, or on the dyno? that is a vtec or non vtec head on that b20? what are your AFRs reading into boost? when its hot, engine bogs into boost, whether it be part throttle or WOT? and when it bogs, is boost climbing or stuck somewhere? hows your idle when warm? what are you boosting at? check engine light came on, so what is the code, and what ecu are you running? you are running rich...............how do you know you are running rich? all hacks are pulled off the car? fuel pressure reads.........in static and idle?

the two things that came to my mind were, tuning and the intercooler heatsoaking......but i would listen to superbluecivicsi...

It was tuned on the street, and the guy who tuned it didnt completely seem like he knew what he was doing, he claimed he did, but he just got his wideband and started tuning quite recently..he told me the car was running very rich, as he wanted to make sure it was running good first, i brought it back to him to get it leaned out a bit and he said it was fine and to leave it like that....non vtec, not sure what the AFR is...bogs whether it is full or wide open throttle...boost is stuck, doesnt go past 1psi usually, and if it does it quickly kicks back down..running stock ecu and im not sure how to check for the engine light code..no fuel pressure guage..and i am pretty sure all the hacks are pulled off

before anything is said, pull the cel. start from there. i also assume you are running a p74/75 uber readied, which means, you are not running a stock ecu, because the ecu is chipped. also do you still have the b20b ecu and injectors? the 550s are saturated?

its always good to run rich then to lean. i would leave a tune only on a good dyno session. also, if you plan on running uber, there is alot of info you should have covered. have you been to keeblers site (the sticky on ubers site)? there is absolutely no datalogged info or any bins or anything that came from the guy when he street tuned your car? you paid this guy to tune it? also, where are you supposed to be boosting at? a fuel pressure gauge is a nice piece to get. i would recommend you get one. before all and all is said and done, pull the code. follow the links above.

Hey thanks for the info..im going to check the code soon, i do have the b20b ecu..i did not think the b20b injectors, but i could be wrong. I am boosting, well supposed to be boosting at 6psi, and i definately agree with the tuning on a dyno, im going to try and find somewhere out here asap..i just moved across country and no absolutely no one or nothing..so as soon as i can locate someone reputable that is what i will be doing. Thanks alot

Hey i just checked the code, and it came back as fuel supply system..so i was wondering what you think..injectors? fuel pump maybe?

well, the cel 43 is usually due to running rich. pull the plugs and look. your fuel maps going into boost may be too rich. what you can do is check the fpr if it is stuck open. also getting readings from the fuel pressure would be good too. it also wouldnt hurt to change out the fuel filter if you havnt done so already. it can be alot of things, but, how was the car running prior to the tune? if it happened after the tune, i would suspect that a new tune on the dyno would fix the rich problem.

also, a vac leak could also be a culprit to a cel 43 and your boost problems. do you have a vac/boost gauge? you can also visually check your vac lines just to make sure. dont forget to check the gate, bov, and boost controller too.

the bogging into boost..................and only boost? may be due to the tps and map sensor. check the voltage on them to make sure they are working properly.

if all checks well, i can only suspect what the guy did when tuning and whatever changes he made. if the guy is not reputable, search ubers site for reputable tuners or learn to do it yourself.
