This guy on ebay has a volant cold air intake and a set of pretty new jba plug wires, there for an 8.1 silverado. Would these fit my 4.8? The shape of the intake looks about the same and i really cant see why the plug wires wouldnt fit, thanks guys.

I would imagine the part numbers would be different, seeing as it is SUPPOSED to be for a diferent engine. But the overall shape looks like he same as ones ive seen for different applications of these trucks, as long as the filter box is on the right side of the compartment (left if your standing in front of it.....oh yeah im technical now). Would it be worth taking the chance? I could score this thing WAY under any price for any new one ive seen. Plug wires would fit though right, i think any of the LS1 based blocks would be the same length.

They are not LSX based. Does this look anything like your 4.8? Sorry, not trying to be an ass
