Silverado hard starthereintop 10-26-2005, 09:14 AM I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 5.3 Liter EFI engine. It starts fine when engine is cold. After engine gets to operating temp. and you shut it off, you have to crank a long time to get it started again. Truck only has about 60 K on it. When truck was new I had to take it to the dealer a lot for throttle problems. Could this be my problem again? muzzy1maniac 10-26-2005, 09:19 AM Go ahead and post this anywhere - nah really anywhere is fine... BNaylor 10-26-2005, 09:24 AM I've notified our Moderator. He'll probably move this post to where it belongs for the benefit of the person with the problem. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y186/lizzywiz/gtp.jpg Thrasher CAI, DHP v1.0 PCM, SLP Headers, 3.25 SC pulley, CAIT GMAF, 2.5 DP/Hi-Flow CAT, u-bend delete, 160 TS, ZZP Stage 1 72mm TB, TB spacer, MSD 8.5mm wires, Autolite 103, Goodyear Gatorback Serp. & SC Belt, Nitto NT555R Drag Radials 1/4 ET: 13.210 sec. @ 104.490 mph 0 - 60 ft: 1.945 sec. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
