OEM Parts online?fxrs89 10-24-2005, 11:12 AM I need to order the stupid metal plate that goes between the crankshaft pulley and the crankshaft. (I can't even guess what it is called) It is keyed to the crank and helps to hold the timing belt on the crank gear. Mine looks like hell, and I hope that it is the cause of this ridiculous high pitched squeaking I get. I have replaced the timing belt, the tensioner pulley wheel the idler pulley wheel and the water pump. I have even ran the motor (temporarily) without the accessory drive belts to ensure that the noise is coming from the timing belt area. I am STUMPED! Ron- I know exactly what you are talking about.I have a few in the garage somewhere. I had a squealing noise on my b2200 and it turned out it was the cam sprocket barely rubbing the plastic timing cover. It was very irritating! The top timing cover now lives in the garage. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
