The number of flashes represents the code. There is a slight pause between the flashes representing the first and second digits of the code. Longer pauses separate individual codes. For example, flash-flash-flash [pause] flash-flash represents the code 32. but i bought brand new platnum plated sparkplugs gapped made sure they were gapped correctlyLoose the platinum plugs and put in the stock champion copper plugs or copper NGK's. The neon does not repsond well to the platinum plug. I bet you have a code 43 misfire from the platinum plugs. The Cold air intake is not your problem. explrnlife 10-25-2005, 03:08 AM [QUOTE=das2123]To read any OBD codes, perform the following sequence. I took my car to AutoZone and they hooked it up and it gave me the code p0301 cylendor 1 missfire. i took out each sparkplug cleaned them and made sure everything was tight and secure and it seems to be running better but everynow and then it will still sputter. so you think i can go ahead and put my coldair intake back on my car then? i was going to go ahead and change out the sparkpluggs and get 8mm racing sparkplug wires and install them on my car what do you think? das2123 10-25-2005, 08:29 AM I took my car to AutoZone and they hooked it up and it gave me the code p0301 cylendor 1 missfire.Man it feels good to be right. so you think i can go ahead and put my coldair intake back on my car then? i was going to go ahead and change out the sparkpluggs and get 8mm racing sparkplug wires and install them on my car what do you think?Yes you can put you CAI back on. Lose the platinums and go to the stock copper champions. If you want to change the wires go ahead. You won't see any increase in HP or anything like that. Spark plug wires do not increase HP, don't believe the hype. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
