Hey everybody, my vic is gettin no spark comin off the coil. Its getting batt voltage to the coil, so im thinking the coil is bad. I also heard about the ignition module causing no spark. Both parts are getting power do them, is there anyway i can test these parts??? My vic is a 90 with the police package 351. Thanks.

hey6bolt, you can get the module tested at just about any parts store, for free, also you can check it with a test light at the coil, ground your light and stick it in the green wire that is your tachometer line at coil if it flashes as you are cranking engine, your module is okay. if no flash you need module. I recomend also changing pick up in dist. if module tests bad . goodluck

I actually did that too. I had my test light on the tach signal terminal and cranked it, but nothing. I had a feeling i needed voltage from that terminal, thats why i was sketchy on replacing the coil. Pick up in distributor sounds familiar... what is that? Thanks for your help, ill keep you posted.
