found some bf goodrich a/t ko 265 75 16 for 350. he didnt have a depth guage to say how much tread was left on the tire but he stuck a quarter down in the tread and said with washingtons head up it came to his cheak bone. Which is ruffly half an inch i think. So i dont know how much tread is left milage wise and if 350 is a good deal for those.

also i did alot of research and i havnt found weather just trimming with out torsion tightening would keep them from rubbing on an 01 se 4x4. Please have mercy if i missed it some where.

A 32" tire (which that is) does not require torsion bar adjustment. Cranking reduces, but not eliminates, the chance of rubbing at maximum compression, but where it rubs is harmless and can be addressed later if you wish.

wow i bought the tires. They still had the prickly rubber things on the tread. I even went to an offroad shop and looked at some new ones and they were about the same. 350 well spent. I put the tire next to the front wheel and it looks like its going to be tight. guess i might have to tighten the torsion bars a little.

Don't fiddle with the t-bars. Trim, but leave the bars alone. If you find the rubbing (if any) is too frequent, then have them adjusted.
